Thank you for booking with Michael Negrete Photography! Before your session, please watch the videos on our booking page—they cover wardrobe, props, and ordering so you arrive prepared.

Session Fee

The session fee is $40 and covers the photographer’s time and your ordering appointment. It does not include prints, digital files, or other products.

  • Packages may be pre-purchased online or purchased on the day of your appointment.

By booking, you agree to receive appointment-related texts and emails (approx. 5–10 messages). Standard message/data rates apply.

Ordering

Your ordering appointment follows your session on the same day. Plan for 1 hour total (30 min session + 30 min ordering).

After your session, you will sit with one of our sales associates to view all of your photos and select your favorites. During that time, you MUST select your yearbook image. If you do not choose a yearbook pose prior to leaving your appointment, the first photo from your session will be submitted to the yearbook staff.

  • All decision-makers must be present — all choices made during ordering are final.

  • No digital or printed proofs are provided. All orders are placed in-person with a consultant.

  • Additional ordering appointments may be scheduled for $25 each — subject to availability.

  • If you miss or need to reschedule your ordering appointment without 48-hour notice, a new $25 deposit is required. The deposit applies toward any package.

  • Virtual ordering is available but requires a minimum purchase of the Freshman package ($115 + tax).

  • We care for and back up your files, however hard drives can fail — unordered portraits are not guaranteed to be available after your appointment.

  • We are not responsible for archiving portraits.

Shipping

  • Order and pay in full at your ordering appointment — shipping is on us!

  • Orders placed after your appointment are subject to a $20 shipping fee.

Payment

  • Orders are not fulfilled until payment is received in full.

  • If you pay online after placing your order, contact us directly to begin processing — we cannot monitor for late payments.

Production

  • All sales are final — no refunds.

  • No changes, downgrades, or removals once an order is placed.

Packages

  • One student per package — senior packages are for the senior only.

Storage & Pickup

  • Orders requested for studio pickup will be held for 90 days.

  • Orders unclaimed after 90 days will be discarded — no refund or credit.

Digital Files

We take great care with your digital negatives. In the unlikely event of loss, theft, or damage, our liability is limited to a refund of the session fee.

Cancellation Policy

  • Session fees are transferrable if you reschedule more than 2 business days in advance.

  • Cancellations within 2 business days of your session are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Yearbook

Michael Negrete Photography will submit your portrait directly to your school’s yearbook staff. However, we are not responsible for publication, inclusion, or name spelling. Our liability is limited to the session fee if an error is caused by M.N.P.

Copyright

Per U.S. Copyright Act § 17 U.S.C. 106, © Michael Negrete Photography retains full copyright on all images. Purchasing products does not grant reproduction rights.

  • Purchased images are licensed for personal use only — reproduction for commercial use is strictly prohibited.

  • Photographing or scanning our artwork, displays, or screens is not permitted at any time — in studio or during virtual appointments.

  • Clients found photographing our screens will be asked to leave immediately and their session images will be deleted.
